Most root canal appointments are completed in a single visit, start to finish in 60–90 minutes:

- Shaping and disinfecting the canal system, often with our GentleWave® Procedure for a more thorough clean than manual irrigation alone
- Sealing the canal with a biocompatible material to protect against reinfection
Complex cases, a previously treated tooth that's reinfected, or a fracture that needs a closer look, may call for retreatment or a short surgical procedure like an apicoectomy. We'll walk you through which applies to your situation during your exam.

Root canal pricing depends on which tooth is involved (molars, with more canals, typically cost more than front teeth) and whether retreatment or surgery is needed. We accept most major dental insurance plans, which typically cover 50–80% of allowed amounts, and we verify your benefits before treatment so there are no surprises. We also accept CareCredit and Cherry financing for patients who want to spread out payments.
