Welcome to Ballantyne Endodontics—Charlotte, NC - Based Dental Specialty Care, Delivered with Compassion and Expertise.
Enter the wonderful world of endodontics!
You can call endodontics “endo” for short. That’s what we do!
So… what is it?
Think of it this way. Just like medicine has multiple specialties and concentrations, so does dentistry.
Different dental professionals focus on solving different problems. For instance, orthodontists correct the alignment of your teeth, while periodontists treat diseases of the gums.
Endodontists specialize in performing root canals, but there’s more to our specialty than that. Endodontists are the first line of defense against tooth pain. You can think of us as your friendly neighborhood tooth superheroes.
If you’ve ever experienced a severe toothache, you know firsthand how debilitating it is. At Ballantyne Endodontics, we’re committed to finding the root of your pain and treating it with empathy, efficiency, and education.
Our team is here for you.
Ballantyne Endodontics, in Charlotte, NC, is the professional home of endodontic specialists Dr. Sonia Chopra, D.D.S., Dr. Mark Tadrissi, D.D.S., and Dr. Tanya Reiter, D.D.S. Our endodontists are supported by an expert team of assistants and a dedicated support staff.
Ballantyne Endodontics is proud to be a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, and the North Carolina Dental Society.
It’s about more than accolades and memberships. It’s about keeping our skills sharp, so we can give you excellent care.
You deserve the best.
We are really passionate about your smile. Everything we do is with your care and health in mind. We’re all about putting you first.
At Ballantyne Endodontics, we’ve invested in technology that helps us reach accurate diagnoses and treat you with precision. Allow us to geek out a little!
For starters, we perform all procedures with an Operating Microscope. This helps us see with superhuman vision exactly what’s going on in all those teeny tiny canals in your teeth.
We also use 3-Dimensional Cone Beam Technology in our practice, because traditional x-rays are limited in what they can show us. Our Cone Beam gives us a clear, 3D picture of your teeth, soft tissues, nerve pathways, and bone. Plus, we can sometimes find previously undetected infections and canals that may have led to the failure of past treatments. It’s basically our secret weapon when it comes to creating a map of your unique tooth.
We’re also authorized providers of the GentleWaveⓇ Procedure, which helps us perform the least invasive and most effective root canal possible. It’s like a super-gentle powerwash for your tooth. In fact, it’s so delicate, you might even fall asleep during your procedure! You definitely wouldn’t be our first patient to do so.
Our office is also outfitted with a state-of-the-art Fotona Laser, which zaps the bacteria that can grow inside your tooth’s canals, as well as any microscopic debris that may collect during your procedure.
We have two goals when it comes to caring for you and your teeth: make an accurate diagnosis, and treat as effectively as possible. If you have a simple tooth infection, you may only require a root canal that can be performed in a single visit. More complex problems may call for more extended solutions, but we promise to explain every step of the way.
Before we get started with your treatment, we’ll have you come in for a consultation. We promise, this is actually more efficient than just diving in. If we don’t know your full tooth story, how can we plan your treatment accurately? Plus, it’s your mouth, so we want to empower you to make the right decisions for you.
No matter the situation, we always treat your tooth with the best care for you, your mouth, and your lifestyle. We’re on your team.
We don’t only want to give you the most technically accurate and advanced treatment possible. We want to deliver care with love, warmth, and respect. What can we say? We’re perfectionists!
Our team seamlessly collaborates every step of the way to ensure that your experience is overwhelmingly positive, from the friendly welcome you receive at the front desk, to your minimal wait time, to high-quality care, to the follow-up call you receive after your treatment.
All this reflects our commitment to making Ballantyne Endodontics the superior choice for root canals and other endodontic care in Charlotte, NC.
