Meet Our Ballantyne Endodontics Staff

Dara – Front desk receptionist

Dara moved to the Matthews area from Oklahoma with her husband, who she has been with since 1999 but married since 2010. Dara and her husband have 2 daughters and 2 small dogs. She graduated from Cameron University with an associates degree in Respiratory Therapy in 2015 and she loves being in the dental field. She absolutely loves spending as much time as she can with her family and loves to cook and bake for them. They spend a lot of time at beaches or pools. She also enjoys doing arts and crafts with her daughters. She has been in the dental field for about 9 years now.

Mariela was born in El Salvador and raised in Los Angeles. She moved to Charlotte almost 4 years ago for a better life and future. She has 2 beautiful children that are her motivation for a better life and an inspiration to achieve success for better things. Moving to Charlotte opened up a new chapter in her life, by beginning a career in the field of dentistry. Since then she has become more interested in helping others, specifically when the solution becomes a smile. Not too long ago she became part of Ballantyne Endodontics where she is so happy to work for Dr. Tadrissi and Dr. Chopra. Mariela is always trying to grow her knowledge in the industry and primarily helps translating when it comes to our Hispanic patients as well as helping them understand the importance of the practice.
Besides work she loves spending quality time with her kids and teaching them what life is really about. The best part is always learning new things and going on adventures with her little family.

KAROLINE – Front Desk

Karoline was born in Spotsylvania, Virginia and currently lives with her husband and German Shepherd in Fort Mill. She graduated from Hollins University with a Business degree. On her days off, you can find her riding her horse, hiking with her husband and dog Cash, teaching Zumba classes, gardening, or planning weddings. While Karoline is new to the dental industry, she has loved learning all there is to know about root canals. It brings her joy to be working in a field where patients are getting wonderful care and leaving us happier than when they arrived!

luz – Front Desk

Luz has recently joined our team and is very excited to take this new journey in her life. She was raised in beautiful sunny Southern California. Growing up with four younger siblings molded her into a helpful, dependable, hard-working woman she is today. Luz enjoys spending as much time outdoors making fun memories with her three munchkins. One trip to Charlotte is all she needed to fall in love with the spectacular city; she knew then she would raise her kids in this city.

Michelle – clinical staff leader/dental assistant

Michelle has been a dental assistant for almost 9 years at Ballantyne Endodontics. She thoroughly enjoys working alongside Dr. Chopra and Dr. Tadrissi and feels that they are very passionate about dentistry. They truly care about each and every one of their patients, and give the best quality care. She loves working with everyone here to help make this the best possible experience for patients. Outside of work she thrives when she is hanging out with friends around the city and traveling to new places with her long time boyfriend, Corey. Summer months are her absolute favorite and you will almost always find her near a body of clear blue water or a motocross track. Michelle loves working out and promotes healthy eating as she believes what you put into your body is what you get out of it in the long run!

Melanie – Dental Assistant

Melanie is 23 years old and has been a dental assistant for a little over a year. She loves working at Ballantyne Endodontics with Dr. Chopra and Dr. Tadrissi as they are both amazing Endodontists who have taught her so much. Her favorite part about the practice is the ability to work with people who she truly sees as family. When she’s not at work, she’s out with her 1-year-old daughter shopping and running around. They both love being outside and enjoy going to the barn to ride and groom Melanie’s horses. She’s also very into fitness and enjoys going to the gym every day after work with her younger brother.

Victoria – dental assistant

Victoria was born in beautiful Beaufort, South Carolina and military raised. Growing up she loved going to the dentist. She could never understand why people had such a great fear of dentists when she always had an amazing time and received such wonderful care. Due to the wonderful relationship that she had with her hygienist, she knew that she always wanted to have a career in dentistry. She has been assisting since 2011 after graduating from Lake Norman Dental Assisting School. Victoria is proud to say she absolutely loves her field of work. It is her main goal to provide the best treatment possible for all of her patients. She has two beautiful daughters who keep her busy with their sports and many activities. In her spare time she enjoys reading, music, outdoor activities, time with family, and of course preparing for her next NPC bikini competition.

Marissa grew up in Charlotte and attended South Meck Highschool to then further her education at the University of Mississippi. Marissa is very outgoing and active. She loves being outdoors and by the water. In her free time she enjoys working out, attending sporting events, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her family and close friends. She has always known she wanted to work in the dental field and loves her family here at Ballantyne Endodontics.

Sarah was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, and thinks she will probably never call any other place home! Outside of work she loves to be outdoors or spending time with her family, boyfriend and friends. She enjoys exploring the city and cheering on the Panthers during football season. She feels beyond blessed to be able to work with such an awesome team and with Dr. Chopra and Dr. Tadrissi – “truly the best teachers”. She’s happy to have found a work place where everyone acts like family more than coworkers, and can’t wait to see what the future holds for her at Ballantyne Endo.
